The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is exploring new safety standards which would (among other stipulations) see all pneumatic tires on Mobile Elevating Work Platforms at the OEM level filled with liquid flatproofing. They site the added stability and flat-protection products like TyrFil can give. In association with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) in Canada and the European equivalent, ANSI and top manufacturers like SkyJack, JLG and Genie are outlining several new safety initiatives they deem necessary to the industry.
